On September 5th, we met together at Tokyo station and set off towards Kyoto. We arrived at Kyoto station 20 minutes of delay between Odawara and Shizuoka due to heavy rain. After arriving at Kyoto station, we headed to Nara by chartered bus. At the Nara Park, a lot of deer greeted us and we took pictures of them. We visited the Great Buddha of Nara, and Museum of Kofuku-ji Temple. Next, we moved to Arashiyama and took Sagano Sightseeing Tram. We enjoyed nice view of Arashiyama. After arriving at the hotel at 5 p.m. we had Japanese style dinner and relaxed in a hot spring bath.

On the second day, we went to see the city sights of Kyoto. First, we did Kyo-Yuzen workshop at Marumasu-Nishimuraya. We chose one item from handkerchief, pouch and smartphone case, and painted patterns on it. After that, we visited Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kiyomizu-dera which are the most famous sightseeing place in Kyoto. We had boiled tofu dish for lunch. It was a good trip that participants could learn Japanese culture and history.
