INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG

My Home University

The modern-day Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) was founded in March 2, 1959, in Bandung City, Indonesia. The ITB campus covers a total area of 770 000 square meters. This school grew from the original "Technicsche Hogeschool of Universitas Indonesia" which was built in 1920. In the mid-40s, it became the Kogyo Daigaku. Then in 1959 the Indonesian Government renamed it the ITB.

ITB's symbol is Ganesha. Maybe you have already known the story about Ganesha, because Ganesha is very famous. Now ITB has 4 faculties and about 27 departments. ITB campus looks green everywhere, because there are many trees and flowers.
