SELF INTRODUCTION

My name is Wannipa. I'm an exchange student for King Mongkute's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL),participating in the Japanese University in Science & Technology: JUSST, at the University of Electro Communications for 1 year.At my home university I hold a bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering and I am a Master Candidate 2nd year in the same major.

My home country is Thailand. I was born and grew up in the north province. After I finished a high school, I was admitted as undergraduate students by passing through special regulations complied by Faculty of Engineering of KMITL where is located in the eastern region of Bangkok, is far from my hometown about 600 kilometers. I spent 4 years for undergraduate and was admitted as postgraduate student in the same university.

On June 8, 2001 when I received an E-mail accepted me as JUSST Exchange Student for October Entry in 2001,I thought my dream had finally come true and I felt very fortunate to have been given an opportunity to study in Japan.

I know quite a bit about Japan. The Japan I had fabricated in my imagination was the product of Japan movie, news, magazines and advertisement all of major source of entertainment and information to Thailand. I only knew it lying in the east of Asia Continent, consist of the four large island and about three thousand smaller islands. The land is fertile and there are four seasons per year. Also, it is a leading country in advanced technology development as well as high-quality education. Actually I would like to know more and more about it such as Japanese culture, language , ways of thinking and overall approach to life. I hope I will know more than now after I stay in Japan 1 year.

Finally, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to SISF who has contributed me and JUSST program to give me a good opportunity to participate the valuable program
