Self IntroductionTM

My name is Kaspar Valgepea and I am the quite tall henna gaijin from the most beautiful country in the world - Estonia. In Estonian language, Estonia is called Eesti.

I really like me homecountry for many reasons. First, we have really beatiful nature and fortunately it is preserved. I really appreciate the Estonian`s attitude towards respecting their nature and country overall. Secondly, we have really few people - around 1.3million - and the people keep together like a small nation should.

I have lived in Estonia my whole life before coming to Japan. One main reason, why I haven`t lived abroad - was my career as a sportsman. I have loved sports since I was a small kodomo. In Estonia, because of the winter and snow - skiing is very popular. Skiing was also for me,one of the first sports to practice. The first serious sport what I took up was basketball.I practiced this for 5 years, but during the 4th year I understood that from Estonia is very hard to get to NBA so I switched to track & field instead.I practiced athletics for 11 years - in the end my speciality was pole vault.I really liked competing and flying high. During the same time,I also played golf a lot.It was one of my ealry addictions.

I have a little bigger size of family compered to the avarage Estonia - 5 people. My father Tarmo does many things for living, my mother Krista is a track & field coach for kodomo, my sister Kristel works in the Estonian Olympic Committee as a antidoping specialist and my brother Randel builds houses. I miss them and of course miss spending Christmas with them.
