My first impression of Japan is about the quality of the air. Although there are many cars on streets, high population in the city, high buildings, and industries, but the air is still fresh. Maybe this is because of the Japanese government is still giving conservation to the green plantation. Several area of the city is used to become park and small forest.
My second impression is about the Japanese people. I'm impressed by their hospitality. UEC Home Visit program has proved this to me. My Japanese host family accepted us (me and Mario) in their house to have a chat, have a dinner together, as if we are a part of their family. I think maybe they don't get paid by doing this, but this is pure their intention to make friends with foreigners. That's what amazed me. I'm also impressed by the beauty of most Japanese girls. Before I came to Japan, I have seen some Japanese films, in which the Japanese girls are so beautiful. That was proven by my experience here. Moreover, my friend in Indonesia asked me jokingly to bring a beautiful Japanese girl for him when I come back to Indonesia later. Japanese girls are beautiful especially when they're using kimono.
My third impression is about the advanced technology of Japan. For example, many devices work automatically for helping our daily life activities. Another example of Japanese technology that is amazing for me is the bill payment system in the convenient store. In Japan, bills can be paid in the nearest convenient store. In my country, for example if I want to pay water bill then I have to go to water company's office in the city, if I want to pay electricity bill then I have to go to electricity company's office in the city, and so on. So, compared with in my country, bill payment system in Japan is really convenient.
My fourth impression is about the water. In Japan, I can drink water from faucet safely, without any additional water processing. In my country, if I want to drink some water from faucet, I have to boil it first, to make sure that it is safe to be drunk.
My fifth impression is about Sushi. Sushi is Japanese food with raw fish meat as the main dish. Until the time that I wrote this section, I have eaten Sushi three or four times, but nothing wrong was happened to me after eating that. On top of it, I think most of things in Japan is having a very good standard of quality, which means that Japan has a high standard of life quality.
