I met my Otousan and Okaasan at 2 PM on Saturday 22nd June 2002 in the second floor at P building. After finished the opening ceremony, they take me to their house by car. Their house's decoration is very nice as Europe house. They prepared my room in the first floor. We talked together about 1 hour. Then we go to the Chofu church to take Tadashi and Izumi from the singing class and kindergarten class respectively. After that we went to Okonomiyaki Restaurant. I've never eaten that before. It was very delicious. Otousak said that Okonomiyaki is Hiroshima's food. When I ate it I put much cayenne pepper, so they were very surprised. After the dinner, they took me to sightseeing at cheap supermarket and home center. Then we went home. I picked the picture book and introduced Thailand to them. They were very interesting in Thailand. And we talked about snow because I've never seen the snow. I went to bed at midnight.
In Sunday, I woke up at 7 AM. Okaasan prepared the brad and boiled egg as breakfast. After breakfast I played with the children waiting for Otousan because he preparing the speech to talk in the church today. We left the house at 8.45 AM and took the children from another family to the church. We arrived at Chofu church at 9 AM. I observed the kindergarten class and played with the children. After that I listened to the story in the bible from a priest. Then I went to upstairs to sing many God's songs and listened to the God and Jesus's story. In lunch time I ate Japanese curry and a banana in the church. Then I went to upstairs to sing the song and listened to Otousan's speech. In the church,
Otousan and Okaasan introduced to the church members. Everyone was very friendly. I left the church at 4 PM went back home. Okaasan made the Sushi as a dinner. We talked together and I played with the children again. I stayed there until 8 PM and came back to UEC. They invited me to visit their house again.
I think this is the great opportunity to learn about Japanese family and Japanese culture. Especially, this is a good chance to practice my Japanese listening and speaking.
