My First Impression of UEC
My first impression of UEC began as soon as I stepped out of the terminal in Narita. There were two male students waiting for me at the gate, ready and willing to help me with my luggage and show me to campus. I had caught a cold while traveling to Japan, and the boys were kind enough to take me to get a nice hot meal. They probably don't know it, but after 20 plus hours of airport food, that meal saved my life. After we arrived in Chofu, there were several other school officials and students that were kind enough to help me get settled in the dorms. The students even carried my heavy luggage up five flights of stairs. I remember moving into the dorms at my home university for the first time, and I did not receive any help that could even compare to my experience here. After getting settled into my room I had a chance to explore the campus. The campus' layout seems to be to the advantage of the students. The buildings are easy to locate, spacious and most importantly clean. I feel that I will have the chance to make great memories here.
