UNI
In the few hours that I am not bludging, I actually attend uni.
At the moment I am on exchange at the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo, Japan. I am gathering credit points such that my double degree of Science/Arts (Computer Science major, Japanese double major) will come to a rapid end!
Before coming to Japan, I completed my first year of Computer Science and second year of Japanese at my home university (The University of Queensland, Australia). I don't really know why I chose this area of study and I wont even try to write down my feelings. I know that in the future I would love to work for a computer software development company, particularly one that has strong connections between Australia and Japan. It is, however, quite difficult to talk about area of specialisation and future plans when I am only one year into a four year course. At this point in time, I don't have all of the answers.
Of course, at the end of this year I will be returning to the University of Queensland. Like all universities in Australia there are two semesters; the first starting in Early March; the second in July. As stated before, I am undertaking a four year degree which will stretch to five, thanks to this year in Japan! There are many social, sporting, musical events at UQ (too many to list anyway) so if you want to check out THE best uni, just click on the address below.
