I reached at UEC on Oct 4 2002.Doctor SUZUKI and Miss Guo and a lot of students who lived in the International House welcome me warmly at XINSU Station.I was impressed by them .
UEC is very small and its students maybe only a few thousands and the camp is not so large but with a lot of trees .My supervisor's lab is at new building with many advanced equipments which are not available in our university. The library is very new and clean and neat and comfortable for us and have many books and magzines on special major in English and Japanese .
It is convenient for me to research for some papers on fiber lasers and copy and print them freely .
I think UEC is a very good university and I will have a good time and good life in UEC .
