My First Impression in Japan

During the flight to Tokyo in my mind I was quite scared and worried about a long stay in Japan
because this is a first time for me to study aboard. However I hope good things will happen that can improve
myself and make my life new. While the airhostess was saying that we were near Tokyo, suddenly I faced to right,
Oh!! I saw Mount Fuji or Fuji-san (Japanese name). It was great and I remember every moment of my first impression
in Japan because when I was young I have a dream to see it. Mount Fuji is the highest mountain on the island
of Honshu and indeed in all of Japan. It straddles Shizuoka and Yamanashi
prefectures in central Japan just west
of Tokyo, I was very happy to see it and also I forgot I was scared about everything after that the first step out
from Narita Airport. I felt very cold but I like it because I couldn’t feel this in my country. Thailand’s temperature
is about 25-3
3
Celsius; of course it is so hot. In few weeks in Japan I have traveled around Tokyo, such places as
Asakusa, Shinjuku, Odaiba, Shibuya, NHK Science and Technical Research Laboratories (STRL) and the last one is
Tokyo Disney Sea. At Tokyo Disney Sea there are funny and very beautiful places, I think this is a great chance in
my life to see it. Tokyo is really a great place for anyone with an interest in Japanese culture because the Tokyo
of today is very clean, safe, international and modern. Towering skyscrape
rs over the sky, highways cross the ground
but it still reserves traditional art, cultures and lifestyles. The cities are meticulously planned with systematic signs
provided on narrow roads with separate paths for pedestrians and cyclists. I am very impressed by Japanese culture,
for example, when people go up an escalator they will line up, and they earnestly follow all the traffic rules.
The Japanese have utilized every inch of space for dwelling or for parking. Finally about Japanese people, they are
very nice to me; they help me to do everything until I can adjust myself with this new country.
