My home university is The National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) is one of the largest public universities in Mexico. It is based primarily in Mexico City and its suburbs, and is dedicated to research and education at high school, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It was founded on 1 January 1936 during the administration of President Lázaro Cárdenas del Río. It offers 65 technical careers, 78 different undergraduate and 128 postgraduate programs to 153.027 students in 81 different academic units. The IPN is divided in academic unites, my academic unite is called ESIME (Superior School of Mechanic and Electric Engendering), it is a unite located at the south side of Mexico City, is smaller than the others unites. The post graduated school is called SEPI (Post graduated section of studies and investigation) I belong to that school inside the ESIME. The pet of the IPN is a white donkey, actually at the ESIME you can find a real white donkey grazing around the gardens of the school.
