AUSTRALIAN PUBCRAWL The Australian pubcrawl put on by the Australian Students Society (ASS). The crowd was made up of about 25 Australians and maybe around 15 Japanese. The theme was apparently "Australian" and somehow we (Mim, Deryck and I) thought hawian shirts would be the go! The first placed for the night: a New Zealand bar called the "Black Sheep". Wasn't too bad actually except the guy who owned the place forget we were coming and he was serving all the drinks by himself. Mim and Naomi having fun at the Black Sheep along with some Japanese girls. At the second bar: "The Fiddler". Three Japanese guys we met at the first bar. From left to right: Shinichi, Kenji and Sabu. These guys were pretty good fun however I talked to them too much that we initially lost the main group and, if it wasn't for those けいたい's (mobile phones), who knows where we would have ended up!! Actuall this place was pretty good - they had XXXX !! But at \500 a pop, can't afford to have too many. The last place for the night - the "Austalian Bar". As the sign says: great music and Australian beer and BUNDY RUM!! And look, 2 hours of cheap drinks - 500yen. That's around $7 Australian. Later on the prices went up to 1000yen each ($14 - $15 a pop). That's Japan for you. Deryck obviously having a good time and also a bit of a look at the Australian Bar. Actually, that's all there is!
