Copyright and Ownership The University of Electro-Communications (UEC), Japan holds all
rights and ownerships for any publication and research works which are carried out by all UEC
students, including Exchange Students (non-degree) and Research Students(non-degree), and UEC
staff. The copyright for all articles in the“Proceedings of the UEC International Mini-Conference
for Students on Informatics & Engineering and Information Science” (hereinafter “the proceedings”)
are reserved by the UEC International Education Center. On whatever medium these articles may
be presented, all copyrights are automatically transferred to UEC. However, authors themselves may
copy, translate, or modify their own articles. In a case of translation or modification, the authors must
clearly cite the relevant articles of the proceedings in the newly prepared publication. The authors
are also responsible to report the use of said articles to the International Education Center and UEC
by clearly stating the nature of the use and submitting the original articles, in order to obtain the
