Japanese government (MEXT) scholarship students
Japanese government scholarship students are students who receive Japanese government scholarship from the MEXT.
Japanese government scholarship students receive scholarships and are exempt from fees for admission and tuition. Return air tickets are also provided. Period provided for preparatory training of Japanese is from half a year to one year.

Scholarships for International Research Students Recommended by UEC
These scholarships are available for master's program and doctoral students. The scholarships are awarded based on your research field and qualifications. You may apply by contacting a prospective faculty supervisor or department head at UEC.

Scholarships for International Undergraduate and Graduate Research Students Recommended by Japanese Embassies
These scholarships are available for prospective undergraduates, master's program students, and doctoral students. The scholarships are awarded in accordance with recommendations from the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in your country based on your academic ability and commitment.
