3rd Monday of September Respect-for-the-Aged Day
September 23 Autumn Equinox Day*
2nd Monday of October Sports Day
November 3 Culture Day
November 23 Labor Thanksgiving Day
December 23 Emperor’s Birthday

* These holidays may be a day or two earlier or later in a given year; replacement holidays are set allocated on Mondays if the official holiday falls on a Sunday.
Note: A day that is sandwiched between two national holidays is considered a national holiday by law.
