Mr. NELSON met Prof. FUKUDA, Director of CIPE, to report on the language curriculum that includes host family program and extra curriculum activities they provide for students from non-English speaking background. The two representatives discussed future student exchange.

The University of Queensland offered scholarships in 2010 to its partner organizations as part of its 100th anniversary projects. Prof. FUKUDA expressed his gratitude that two UEC students had received this honor. The two representatives emphasized their desire to promote further exchange. As a result of this visit, new developments are expected in the partnership between UQ and UEC started in 1993.
