A conferring ceremony for Summer Short Exchange Training Program with KMITL (King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand) and KMUTT (King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand) was held at the president reception room on Wednesday, Nov 2. Dr. Fukuda, Director of Center for International Programs and Exchange, with his great wishes, conferred certificates on three KMITL students and three KMUTT students. In a relaxed atmosphere, the students demonstrated the outcome of the training, stated positive impressions about Japan, and expressed their appreciation to UEC staff.

This student exchange program has been held every year. This year, UEC accepted KMITL students in Aoyama-Kanamori Lab and KMUTT students into Higuchi, Nakano and Kirimoto Lab in Dept. of Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Systems.

This program has been approved for Short Stay & Short Visit Program by JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization) this year and implemented with its scholarship support.
