![]() The University of Adelaide is the oldest and the most prestigious University in South Australia. It has been the motor of South Australia's life, education, cultures and various scientific and humanity researches for more than 130 years (up to 2004). In fact, it is also already known that The University of Adelaide is on the top 3 most prestigious universities in Australia. The University of Adelaide has been well known for its long history of excellence in both humanities and science researches. For reference, in fact, Penicilin, was found by one of The University of Adelaide Biomedical research students. Furthermore, various other medical breakthroughs, advanced design in the field of engineering and in many other fields in Australia are initiated and founded in this university. The University of Adelaide concists of four different campuses; North Campus, Waite Campus, Roseworthy Campus and Thebarton Campus. The North Terrace Campus, my home campus is located on the North part of Adelaide city centre and is the centre of Engineering, Humanities, Science, Mathematics, Performing Arts and Music. The Waite Campus located only 15 minutes from the city center, across the road of my residence. It is the center of agricultural and forestry research. The Roseworthty Campus, is internaltionally renowned for their excellence in dryland agliculture and animal production research. Finally, The Thebarton Campus is the centre of science and engineering industrial research as well as the commercial enterprises centre of science and engineering. |
