IPN
The name of my Home University is “Instituto Polictecino Nacional” (National Polytechnic Institute), from Mexico. This Institute is one of the older schools in Mexico, and has an impact in the entire nation with his teaching and research projects. You can feel the Mexico culture and tradition when you get in, also several exhibitions are held in IPN.
The “Polytechnic” was founded on January 1 of 1936 and now offers 78 undergraduate programs, 70 master degree and 32 doctorate degree. The polytechnic is a public university that was founded to provide professional education to people that in that period belongs to a disadvantage social classes.
In IPN you can join to different clubs sports or activities such as: boxing, chess, American football, cycling, soccer, swimming, wrestling, taekwondo etc. So you can meet with people that not only make research but also have his own hobbies or professional sport activities.
Actually I come from “ESIME Culhuacan” (School of Mechanical Engineering and Electric Unit Culhuacan). I joined this Institute for studying my master degree, and since my first day when I went to obtain information about this postgrad, I could feel the friendliness and quality of the people who work in the Institute, because when I asked information about their research and future work and they stop his own activities to talk with me. I am so proud to belong to IPN.
