My first impression of UEC
I got my very first impression of UEC even before coming here through e-mails and it was really nice and accommodative. I had some troubles with airplane tickets and I had to come here before suggested dates and I was little worried about that I'm causing troubles to them, but they managed to organize everything and I felt really welcomed here when I arrived.
Thanks to well-working International Affairs office and kind people of JUSST program all difficult and confusing paperwork was made so easy to us, so we didn't have to worry about these things. It left more time to get used to new environment- different language, culture and no friends yet.
Another good thing is that we can live in International House with all most all international students and get many friends thanks to that. There we have our own room, which is comfortable and has all the things that you need to have normal living conditions. Staff working there and taking care of all our problems is especially sweet.
The campus itself is beautiful and I really enjoy walking through it because of the trees and small fountain with fishes swimming inside. You can feel that you are surrounded by nature and it's up to you just to go outside the campus and you can enjoy enormous city of Tokyo.
Based on my first month here I think I can say that I'm going to have an unforgettable year in UEC in Japan.
