Located in Hachioji City, this dormitory houses international students and researchers attending nearby universities (such as Tokyo Metropolitan University, Meisei University, and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology). Each room has an ensuite bath and toilet. Although residents cook their own meals in the dining room, they can also use the Seminar House’s cafeteria if a reservation is made in advance. The living period is a maximum of two years. The nearest station is Kitano Station on the Keio railway line, and the commute from UEC takes about one hour. The expenses (monthly) borne by residents are as listed below (valid as of October, 2009). For more information, please ask at International Student Section. Please note that an application is accepted on condition that the applicant enrolls in the National Health Insurance scheme and a fire insurance plan.
