Student Welfare Facilities

UEC has a variety of facilities devoted to student welfare. These facilities offer quality food, sundries, and books at reasonable prices and, it is hoped, they make campus life more convenient and amenable. UEC students, instructors, and staff are eligible to use these facilities. Please note that the hours are different during such periods as the summer vacation.

University Center, East Campus

Univ Co-op shop (University Center 1F)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 pm. Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Description: Sale of foods, books, stationery, and sundries; photo services; rail and airline tickets; ticket agency

Barber shop (University Center 1F)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fee: ¥2,000 (reservations required)

Cafeteria (University Center 2F)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
No. of seats: 300 (self-service)

Restaurant Harmonia (University Center 3F)

Hours: Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
No. of seats: 160 (full service)

West Campus

West Cafeteria

Hours: Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
No. of seats: 180 (self-service)

K-shop

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
