Registration for the Japanese Language Course in the Fall semester 2026
This is the UEC's International Education Center. We will inform you of the following four points.
(1) Registration for the Japanese language course
(2) Placement test
(3) Survey of available dates and times
(4) Start date of Japanese language classes
(1) Registration for the Japanese language course
Those who wish to take our Japanese language classes in the new semester should register. Note that you or your spouse must be a member of the UEC for the new semester to be eligible to attend. In addition, those who take this course are required to attend at least two-thirds of the classes.
Registration deadline: Wednesday, September 16 (JST)

(2) Placement test
For those who have already started studying Japanese, a placement test will be given via Zoom during the last week of this month. Applicants will be contacted by email later.
(3) Survey of available dates and times
At the beginning of next month, we will send a survey to those who have registered above regarding their available time for taking Japanese language classes. Once you receive this notice, be sure to complete your response by the deadline.
(4) Start date of Japanese language classes
After the survey, we will decide on the timetable of Japanese language classes and inform you of this by October 8. Japanese language classes are scheduled to start on October 12. However, these schedules may change.
