Center for International Programs and Exchange (Building E-2)

Center for International Programs and Exchange (CIPE) was established in April 2004 with the goal of promoting internationalization at UEC. CIPE offers support for international researchers and international students, works to improve international education for Japanese students, and plans and operates various international programs.

In addition, since 2009, CIPE has offered various support services for international researchers and their families, by such means as offering help with visa applications before arrival in Japan and various administrative procedures after to the researcher has arrived in Japan.

UEC International Lounge

This lounge was opened in November 2009 in Building E-2 (Room 117). With the goal of promoting internationalization at UEC, the lounge serves as a venue for Japanese and international students to meet casually and interact with one another.
