Personnel Clubhouse (Lodging Facility of East Campus)

Reservation

*If you want to use the clubhouse for the duration of apartment-hunting or other purposes, please ask the host researcher to reserve a room.

(Procedures)

  1. Availability check: Call the Staff Welfare Section (Ex. 5024) of the Personnel and Labor Affairs Office.
  2. If a room is available: To make the reservation, send the following information via e-mail.
    1. The name of person who makes reservation
    2. The name of section/division where the person belongs
    3. Extension number
    4. Emergency contact number
    5. Mailing address
    6. Duration of use
    7. Checking out date
    8. Purpose of use
    9. The name of lodger
    10. East or West: Indicate the preference accommodation
  3. The Staff Welfare Section sends back the permission mail
  4. Print out the permission
  5. For the advanced payment: Visit the Receiver Office on 2nd floor of the main bldg
  6. The Receiver Office gives you a receipt
  7. Visit the Staff Welfare Section of the Personnel and Labor Affairs Office on 4th floor of the main bldg
  8. The section gives you keys for the room and entrance

Security

When checking in or out, or whenever you leave your room, be sure to lock the room door and the entrance door. Be sure to take your key with you if you leave. If you somehow get locked out of your room, the main gate security office has a spare key. Please contact them to let you in.

Cleaning

Please be aware that the housekeeping staff will enter each room between 1 and 5 pm on odd days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) to clean up. If you hang the "Do not disturb" sign on your doorknob, the staff will not enter the room to perform these services. (If there is nothing hanging on the knob, they will enter as scheduled.)

Bed Making

Extra sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase are provided in each room for changing. Please do bed making by yourself during your stay.

Important Notes

  1. There is no smoking in the building. Smoking is not permitted on campus outside of the designated smoking areas.
  2. This lodging facility is used by many guests, so please handle the equipment and supplies with care.
  3. If any of the equipment or supplies are damaged or missing as a result of deliberate or gross negligence, you will be charged for the damages.
  4. Please refrain from getting into the bathtub after drinking, as doing so can be hazardous.
  5. Please refrain from engaging in behaviors that are bothersome to others.
  6. When leaving, be sure to take all of your belongings with you. If any left items are found, we will contact the person who made the reservation and will return those items. Items left in the refrigerator will be discarded.
  7. To make on-campus phone calls, feel free to use the telephone located at the 2nd floor entrance.
