Other Extracurricular Activities
In addition to FICES and ISC, UEC has about 70 clubs, often called “circle” in Japanese, that focus on scholarly, cultural, or sporting activities. These clubs conduct their own activities and it is recommended that international students take the opportunity to become involved with one or more of these groups to make friends among the local student population and enrich their experience in Japan.
